Art is the expression of our souls.  It is the artist’s handwriting that is as unique to the world as our DNA is to our identity.  Through different mediums of oil and water paints, I continuously evolve as an artist and ultimately record my art journey and process.

Joan moved to the Atlanta area in 2015, with her family.   She lived in Miami, Florida most of her life, but welcomed the change of climate, seasons, and scenery.  Her previous work, in the medical field, was the start of her creative foundation, as she designed and created medical devices for patients with disabilities.  She is passionately self-driven, studying art through books, workshops, a mentoring program and painting everyday.
